Beeper music compo announced

Yerzmyey, the author of Z80 Music Site, and famous AY composer, announces a ZX Spectrum 48K beeper music compo. There are plans to held The Beeper Party in 26-28 August 2011, with the compo as part of the party.

Compo rules are:

- You can use any editor and any engine. However the compo is for chiptunes, not for digital beeper music. This means no Sample Tracker music or other music completely made of samples is allowed.

- There can be anything on the screen while playing music (title would be nice) except author's name, to provide blind voting. However, there must be a text file attached too, with title, author's name, and the editor/engine used. Number of channels might be specified too.

- You should send the stuff in TAP file, with loader/player, so it could be loaded with LOAD "". Beepola is capable to create such a files.

- There is no restriction about its lenght in time.

- The music must work on ZX Specrum 48K, no huge stuff for 128K.

- A compo machine will be Timex Computer 2048. Don't worry about compatibility - everything will work as on the original Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K.

- Deadline is in 22 August 2011.
