About me
Nick: Shiru, earlier Shiru Otaku; also earlier DJ Uranus (as composer)
Location: Russia, Moscow
As coder: Started in 1994. C/C++, J2ME, Assembler. 8080/Z80/x86/ARM/AVR/MCS51/6502/68K. ColecoVision, IBM PC (DOS/Windows), J2ME, MSX, Palm, PocketPC, PowerTV, Radio 86RK, Sega Master System, Sega Megadrive/Genesis, Symbian, ZX Spectrum. Some years of working as sound/tools/games programmer
As composer:  Started in 1997. Any trackers, MIDI sequencers, and other stuff. Both chip and sampled music. I also did music and sound effects for some commercial games. My favorite sound chip is 2A03, though I don't have my own finished works for it. From sample-based formats and trackers I prefer XM and FT2/Skale
Interests: Computers and game consoles. All that related to video games - history, emulation, programming, music, art. Programming for small-powered systems - software rendering and 2D graphics, for example.
Group: Currently none, though I'm often team-ups with Alone Coder to work on different ZX Spectrum-related projects
